Stopped by Cabela's Reno this AM, saw 5 Nagants at $149 ea. Same old used stuff on the racks as over a month ago. No SKSs some well used Mausers and rusty Arisakas.
If you've been to the Cabelas store and remember the handgun counter well, nothing but scopes there now. Handguns has shrunk dramatically and been moved to where the scopes were the short counter at the south end of the firearms counter.
Forget the ammo......zippo 22lr, 38 spl, 7.62x39, mostly shotgun rounds a few 44mag.
Tried Sportsmans Warehouse on Kitzkie in Reno, same deal no ammo other than shotgun stuff, some "We're Sorry signs". 25 people lined up at the customer service desk, not sure what that was about. The checkout stands were open with only 1-2 people at them.
They had a dozen black rifles laying on the counter for people to play with, NV residents only of course.
