    Glock 36 owners, Unite!

How many Calgunners own this single stack odd duck? IMO this gun is awesome, its a glock version of an 1911 (pearce+1) and for the past 3 years my favorite carry gun. But accessories and upgrades are scarce. Any other fans?

I love mine. It's been just as reliable as the other glocks i own / owned. Makes for a good hand cannon.

Bought mine new in 2006. Shoots better than me. Once I took it to Lytle Creek's range to shoot my Head Shot Pepper Popper with it. RO tells me I couldn't set it up at the 25yrd line. Said I had to put it at 50yrds, per their rules .
I put it at the 50 and I could still hit the head almost at will. RO says to me "that little Glock is a shooter"
Invited the father and son with new Kimbers next to me to give it a crack. Try as they may, they couldn't hit the head. Shot the snot out of the 2x4 supporting the pepper popper
Yea I like my Glock 36.

Any problems with the +1 extension?

Haha nice. I was surprised with what I could hit out to 50 yards. Admittedly I'm substantially better at the 25 yard line though.

Same here. Hah, the Hand Cannon is my nick-name for this little piece.

I found my Glock 36 is more accurate than my glock 17. It's an awesome gun!!

I picked up an OD green one, night sights, two extra mags, and three boxes of expensive ammo about three years ago for $425.00. I put a clip draw on it and I love that pistol.

I have had mine for about 5 years now. A few thousand rounds later and not a single hiccup.

That's all the convincing I needed, thanks.

I don't own one but I definitely want one! We were at the ranch a couple Weeks ago I had my g30sf n a girl was shooting he Glock.. I noticed big shelf coming out asked he what model she said take it.. I Was shooting and didn't realize what it was.. More comfy than my 30Sf but it ran out quick.. Asked her which Glock it was n she said it was the 36 single stack.. I Never heard of it until then but I definitely want one now!

                            I have one

I bought a Glock 36 used about a year ago. The indoor range where I shoot was disposing of a number of range guns, and they had it priced at $300. I couldn't see a mark on it, so I quickly bought it.

I have put maybe 500 rounds through it, and carried it on a couple of trips to Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, where I have permits. I really like this gun, and can't believe the accuracy for a 21 ounce .45 with a 4 inch barrel. It conceals very easily because of its thin profile and fairly short grip. I think it has become my favorite carry gun.

Been considering one of these since the S&W Shield in 9mm seems like vapor ware.
