My mother just purchased a Glock 27, but she no longer likes it and instead of her selling it to someone else i asked her if she would give it to me. Her concerns are that she just got the weapon and doesn't want it to look suspicious when we turn in the intral familial transfer. Her and i both have our HSC's. Will we be ok or should there be reason to worry???

What would be suspicious about a parent giving a firearm to their child? There is nothing "strange" no red flags/secret list stuff about her giving you a gun.
Enjoy it and if she doesn't like the next one, feel free to request that one also.I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".Comment

FFL's can't sell a handgun to under-21, but it's fine for parent to give to child 18+.
As others have posted, the date doesn't matter; if she'll give it to you and file the form&fee, all will be well.
List? Funny you should ask.Last edited by Librarian; 04-21-2008, 2:37 PM.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
