Update: I was clearing my gun prior to doing a bit more sanding on one of my mags that stick (I've separated them from the rest of my mags until they're perfect) and I noticed that all my good mags have TWO magazine catch notches, and all the magazines that stick when not empty all have only one magazine catch notch.

Now I know what to look for before I lay my cash on the table.

The only mags I've ever had stick were Fake Chinese I bought from here when the seller said they were OEM.

They are ".912 vs OEM .845" thick out of spec. All OEM drop free

Thanks for the measurements. Now all I have to do is find my calipers...it's probably in my reloading gear that I never use anymore.

Of course, all my mags say "Glock" and all the packaging said "Glock" but then again, when I bought a T1 clone online, all the packaging said "Aimpoint" and the mount said "LaRue" (I wanted to play with the setup to see if liked red dots) and later, when I compared the real items with the clones, I could only tell the difference in quality of the parts by comparison only. If someone had told me the clones were the real thing, I would not have known the difference in the store.

All my mags drop free, loaded or empty.

If you need to sand mags there is another issue.

Yea all my knock offs still fire and feed fine. They just hang up when dropped empty. Those aren't the exact measurements being I broke my caliper out like 3 years ago but they were off but .010 or around that. It explained everything and I confirmed they were knock offs with online sources with the features mine had. Like you said you couldn't tell the difference until side by side.

Had my caliper handy and figured I'd do it again.

Gen 3 and prior mags had only one cutout for the mag catch. Gen 4 has 2 cutouts because the mag release can be moved for a right or left side mag release. Gen 3 mags will work for all gen Glocks as long as you keep the mag release on the left side of the gun.

My gen 3 21SF begs to differ. It has ambidextrous mag releases and of course the double cut-outs. I use a silicon wipe down cloth on the mags and the mag well and they whip right out full, partial, or empty.
