Okay guys I recently had in sporting terms access to the #1 and #2 draft picks in my gun list to pick from.
My trade bait wasn't that big of a deal other than value wise (bolt action browning xbolt w zeiss lens and a bunch of goodies)
My trade options
Benelli M4 BNIB or
Springfield TRP 1911 in stainless with 5 extra mag(Wilson combat and extra grips) apporx 200 rounds down pipe

As much as I wanted the M4 I already own a Spx and I went ahead and snatched up the 1911 even tho I jailed a target loaded not to long ago (yes there's a big difference between a loaded and TRP!)
So lets hear it guys did I make the right choice? Somehow I'm kinda regretting not getting the M4, but vise versa I coulda felt the same had I went w M4

I'm of the recent mindset that bolt rifles and even semi auto shotguns will be available for a while. Other things not so much. Even 1911's. so get the things that will be harder to come by in the comin years. The m4 is sweet but a shorty shotgun is limited in use. Besides there's plenty of aftermarket stocks for shotguns.
