I do own an SA "Loaded" in SS. The only real differences from the Mil-spec is the sights (3-dot) and ambi-safety levers. Other than that pretty much the same gun with the same great SA warranty. Enjoy and good luck!

The differences between the Mil-Spec and the Loaded are that the Loaded also has either 3 dot sights or adjustable sights, ambi-safety, beavertail, skeletonized hammer/trigger, a full length guiderod and a different mainspring housing.

There may be other internal differences that I'm overlooking too.

The loaded has a lot more than just safety levers and sights.

From the factory the loaded also has:
Matchgrade ultralight overtravel adjustable trigger.
Matchgrade notched skeletonized hammer
Matchgrade precision cut sear
a tuned sear spring
full beaver tail grip safety.
a full length guide rod
match grade barrel

All Loaded models are assembled and tuned in house before test firing.

Personally while I think the loaded is nice, I feel the OP has just picked up a real winner. This handgun is crisp and well mannered but also leaves tons of room for the OP to purchase upgrades and get into the exciting world of 1911 ownership.
