      I have The Mpa930 and it works with sten Mags and The new one that tapco makes for Mpa. I thinks The 45 mpa mac does use The Grease gun Mags and tapco makes a new 45 mag that comes with then fun from The factory.

        I would want to know if they would consider the muzzle brake a type of flash suppressor or a form of barrel shroud, before I put the original mag catch release on.

So hopefully all I have to do is install a mag release in place of the little piece of crap that holds the mag well butt-plug in place.

          At any rate, I'll know on April 2 when I pick it up, bring it home, and see what it takes to make one of my 30 round "fun stick" grease gun magazines work in it.
          Your pre-ban grease gun mag will work just fine.

          MPA10 = Grease gun mag
          MPA30 = Sten Mag
          MPA930 = Sten Mag
          MPA57 = FN 5.7 Mag

            The pinned/welded brake that comes on most neutered MPA's are just there to bring the length up.

            I currently run a setup that utilizes a safety extension that locks on via roller lock on a non-threaded barrel that is no longer being made by MPA. I consider it an extension. Some might view it as a shroud even though it does not fully cover the barrel.

              So are you gonna put on the mag catch release when you get it? I am asking because I just purchased a mpa mini 9 and have sent away for the mag catch but after eading the laws am worried a LEO or later the DA might decide that the muzzle brake is fashioned in a way to consider it a shroud or flash suppressor and in need of a mag lock to be legal.

                Why aren't your guns coming with mag catches? My MAC clone came with one. It had a sled in the magwell fixed in place by a single screw. But, the mag catch was just the standard mag catch.

                  Now they come with a coupon good for a free mag catch, but is says only for use where its legal on the coupon. Now the come with a mag release that takes a metal rod to push the release in to drop the zero round mag sled. Other wise besides the gun and case thats it for the defender pistols themselves.

                    My Mpa930 just had a block of wood held in place with a Long screw. The mag catch was already instaled from The factory.

                      Yeah let us know how it goes, I've sent away for the mag catch and bought some mags mid march and have received nothing as of yet they even charged my card a week ago for the mags but sent me no further communication (web site says they don't charge till ready to ship) tried calling and always get nowhere, straight to VM box and message says box is full no mmatter what extension I try. Kinda getting annoyed as I have had mine for 3 weeks and I got no mags and am not gonna take it to the range for single shots. I've hit up a few posters here about mags but always end up second in line and at this point don't really want to buy any more unless i can get them sooner then later, OK rant over.
