    .357 taurus 6" barrel

Hey so we put a deposit down for a Taurus .357 with a 6" barrell a few days ago, went in today to get the registration going and as it turns out the person was unable to complete the registration since it wasn't on the California approved list. Can anyone verify if this is actually accurate? Kind of odd that we were encouraged to purchase a box of rounds and a firearm that's supposedly not legal to be bought or sold.
Thank you in advance for any information you may have.

I know that there were a few taurus revolvers that dropped off the list in january, i dont know why they would accept a deposit knowing that... i ended up buying a 44mag Taurus 6.5 barrel a few weeks before it fell off the list.. Im contemplating on selling it though, its a pain in the *** to shoot lol

error on the shop's part if it is as cut and dry as you say. I've seen it happen, I've been in a shop where the customer was in to pick up after the 10-day and the employee had to tell him the gun he paid and waited for fell off the roster during his wait and could not be transferred to him. He got all pissy but in that situation the shop had tried to contact him but he admitted to giving an old phone number on purpose. Now that you have the ammo might as well see what else they got in .357

I think I would go with a Telecaster. The bolt on neck would be the strongest to deal with terrorist zombies. I know most folks will say Strat, but I think the trem system is unreliable.
I mean, who needs to dive bomb when SHTF? That only happens in movies.
