Only the standard Sp-01 is on the roster.

It is legal to own. It's just not on the roster so you can't buy new and transfer thru FFL. You have to SSE it, PPT, bring it with you from outside of CA, or gift it from your parents, grandparents, sons or daughters from outside of CA.

If the SKU number of the SP-01 you want begins with a 9 then it is off roster. Only the 01152 is on the roster. The 91152 is off roster (this one has the normal capacity mags)

The tactical, and the standard Sp01 are far more different then just mag capacity.

The Tactical was the first SP-01 I owned, I have since sold it and only have the safety version now. I really prefer that model to the decock, that is the difference in the two models.
Both models before I sold the decocker.

You got lucky, mine was pretty bad.

True, CZ triggers can be all over the map, never had another type gun like that. But I never had a CZ trigger I truly hated either and all clean up fairly well with rounds fired, or a little polishing if you can't wait.

I did I am very lucky to score the Tactical. It's icing on the cake when the trigger is smooth and breaks clean for a non modified gun.
