I'am curious why are people asking so much for Glock's?
I remember they were selling brand new for $499 before taxes & DROS.

I have a Glock 17 and I'am thinking about selling it if I can get what people are asking for them right now.I see them for sale for $700 and up.

One of the main reasons is that because most gun shops right now don't have any NIB Glocks for sale thus everyone is looking for a used Glock. Plus another thing is that the transfer would be via PPT so you can buy as many as you want without the 1 in 30 day rule. Sometimes that makes the deal more attractive. The only downfall is the prices have gone up on used Glocks and the fact that Gen 4's are very hard to get into Ca right now since they are not approved for the roster as of now.

I bought my G23 in Sept for 499+ at the Glockstore. Not many new ones showing up. If you can get a good price for it, go for it. It does seem like they hype is slowing, sometimes ammo is still a joke though.

Keep it. Or sell it to me to play with for $300 and when you decide you want it back ill sell it to you for $300. This is not a joke. I could use another gun in the safe.

- Supply and demand... FIND A GLOCK NIB at a FFL at ANY PRICE?
- No one per 30 day limit with a PPT
- A NIB glock at a FLL is NOT $499.00 but actually $538 when you include tax.
- You had to really LOOK HARD to find a new Glock for $499 even "before Sandy"
- Many of the used Glocks in the secondary market will come with Hi-cap rebuild kits and multiple mags. New is one or two 10 rnd mags.

My LGS finally found me a Glock 34. $740 after all taxes and fees. The next best deal I could find was a used glock for $500 with no magazine.
