    XS Sight Defect!?!?

So...I recently installed some aftermarket XS Express Night Sights on my XD9.
I had only taken the pistol out a couple times since I installed them, and they worked great up until yesterday.
I was at an indoor range and had only unloaded a couple of mags when I noticed that the front sight insert had come out. It took forever to find the thing. When I finally found it, all i found was the plastic insert that surrounded the tritium and the small tritium vial was no where to be found. I was disappointed to say the least and I'm now in the process of either getting a new warranty replacement or just getting my $ back altogether. I got them from Midway so hopefully the process shouldn't be too difficult.

Anyone every hear of this happening or have this happen to them?

Probably a 1/1000 chance, but just my luck i guess.

It is not unheard of for the tritium vial to fall out. I would give midway a call and request a new front sight. Midway is known for having great customer service and support.

LoL. I'm glad that we're all prepared for the most part. FYI: I lost the insert at Targetmasters in Milpitas.

        It's Zombie killin' time!

Looks like it wont be a problem getting a new set from Midway. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

Contact XS directly, they have outstanding customer service and wil fix it asap I am sure.
I haven't seen that problem before.
XS sights have a big following.

This seems to be a bay area phenomenon.
I guess we now know where the zombies will come from with all that extra tritium floating around up there.
