    Colt 38 super extractor

    have a problem with my colt it wont extract the bullets right after its been fired. has anyone else had that issue and if so what can i do about it

      Did the extractor hook break? you'll need to look at the very end of the extractor and see if it's still intact. If the end of the hook breaks, you're stuck with a single shot pistol. However, getting a new extractor is pretty simple, not terribly expensive and the above video is helpful for setting the tension.

        Remove the extractor and bend it inward a bit (increases tension). This is extremely easy to do and there is very little risk of doing damage.
