Sweet looking gun. Its got everything I like: Good looking durable black finnish, ambi-safety, nice machine work and grips. I think it has night-sites. Too bad it's not on "The List". The Sig 1911's seam to have a pretty good track record now that they've been around for a short while. I'd buy one if I could.

It's a great gun. There's two types of the Tacops. One has the more rounded traditional slide and the other has a more squared off slide making it a little more difficult to find a holster.

Comes with night sights and magwell which is nice.

As far as I know its not on the CA list. How are you obtaining it? SSE? $1049 is a great price. Sure its not the Tac Pac? Its a somewhat different gun that I think is on the list.

No. Its the Tac Ops. It has to be SSE'd.

Its a sweet gun! Fit/finish is good, its accurate, softer recoil compared to my Operator. Trigger was nice out of the box. Get a lot of gun for that price too. Bravo Concealment makes a kydex holster for them now which is cool. ~45 day wait......thinking of selling mine tho to fund a Baer or SA Pro

IMHO, I believe it is the best 1911 for that price range. It has more features than a SA MC Operator, Colt Rail Gun, and Kimber TLE Railed. It also comes with 4 Checkmate mags. If the LGS says it only come with 2, then he's lying.

I have 2 sig 1911's (5" SS and Scorpion carry) and they seem to shoot as nice as my Springfield and Kimber guns. The only thing I don't like is the external extractor.
