Not much to think about Glocks are great guns. Buy it. I just don't like them much that's why I only have a few of them.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Imperfections and all, it's hard to beat a Glock as a using tool.

I've got an early first gen. 19 with 25K rounds down the pipe - one rebuild it didn't even need (I am a firm believer in pm) and I've outlived two sets of nights.

Go for it. 17 or 19, pick whatever flavor gets you going.

Option C - none of the above How about a H&K P2000 in 9mm? Much better ergonomics, same reliability, and I'd have to imagine it'd be more accurate.

Next to my HK my Glock almost has "this airsofty" feel....HK is definitely more quality IMHO.... BUT- i know without a doubt that it will go bang everytime I pull the trigger when I need it to just like the HK will- and it is a well built and engineered pistol. A Glock was my first pistol...and I see more in the future...and HKs.....and 1911s.....and SIGs....awww hell...here I go again.

I love my 19. i can honestly say that either one would be sweet. bigger hands = 17, medium to smaller hands = 19. if we were outside of cali then maybe magazine capacity would come into play. since were not...

I am glad to hear your been true to your self, allot of guys hate Glock but for no real good reason, yes it's not a competition type target gun, it's was designed for one reason and that is to work in the worse conditions, it's the AK of handguns
since it's his 1st glock it will be 10 round mags as he wouldn't have bought 18+ in the year 2000

Get a full size glock and you wont shoot much else. I got a Glock 34 for x-mas a few years ago and i dont shoot much else in the way of handguns at my range anymore. Its a great gun. Over three thousand rounds and not a single malfunction at ALL. Only upgrades are Heiner sights and a prezine magwell. The gun just runs out of the box.

That is definitely going to be my next gun. The glock g34. I just love the race gun feel that it has. I already have a 1st gen 17, 1st gen 19, 1st gen 26...I just need the updated g34 with tactical rails to complete my family!!! Any used ones for sale?

Any of the Glock 9mm's will serve you well, my Glock 34 is my favorite Glock and tied for my favorite handgun next to my 1911 that cost 5 times more
