First experience with my glock 21

Just went to the range and shot it. Outdoor. First time shooting this gun. Second time ever shooting a handgun and first time ever shooting a .45..my first impression was that it very manageable from what I heard about .45. Shot like a dream and fed 5 different kinds of ammo flawlessly. Could shoot this gun all day no problem but the one thing that did hurt was putting the damn bullets in the mag! That 10th round is a biotch! Now I feel like I need something bigger z.z No pics yet seeing as though it was an outdoor range and I didn't have many targets or a way of measuring distances accurately. I plan to go to my local indoor range later this week so I can get some benchmark results and see what I need to work on. Seems like a great little gun! Well..it's pretty big but you know what I mean. Also, shot a sig m400. First time with an rifle of that platform as well. Why the hell did I sell my lower..

Get yourself an uplula and loading becomes a breeze. Those Glock mags have tight springs.

Can shoot that all day? Wow, that's a lot of money! You know how ammo prices are nowadays.

Have fun! And get the uplula. You're welcome in advance

        Nice congrats. I love .45!

Now Get some snap caps and practice safe dry firing. Work on your trigger pull/reset, as well as grip and correct sight picture. Besides changing out the stock sights, I would advise leaving everything else stock. Focus on Mags, AMMO, and spare OEM springs for the future.

The more you load your mags the easier it will become. I always get a good laugh watching people struggle even with the loaders LOL.

Get your fingers used to loading without a loader. Stressful situations wont allow time for loaders.

Hey Slappy, I load over fifty 1911 mags and 100 moonclips at a time. About 30 Glock mags when they come out to play.

You want to pay to shoot or pay to load?

New Glock mags are a pain to fully load. When I get new mags, I only load 9 rounds and let the mags sit around like that for a couple days. Afterwards I can manage to squeeze the 10th one in.

I work nights, the range doesn't open until the sun comes up somewhere. If I'm gonna load a thousandish rounds of 45 why not do it when nothing is going on?

There is nothing better than watching the people next to you stop every ten rounds to bust thumbs while your pile of empty mags starts to overflow your range bag.

Watching smoke come out of every seam of your 625 and having to wear gloves to touch it is a close second.

You know how you like to let your neighbors try one of your guns?

It's better when you can hand them five loaded magazines for their family too.
