Need help looking for a holster

I have a sig p229 ese and I'd like to buy a paddle holster or some sort of thigh holster with retention. I've seen a few out there but they don't work with mine because of the front cocking serrations. Anyone have an idea of what holster might work? I'm a big guy so the love handles make a regular holster hard to use. I have an itac for my 1911 that I love.

    Help appreciated.

Check into Safariland. Their als and SLS retention devices are top notch. They offer both on their thigh rigs and the paddle with the als is one of the best I've used. Unlike most kydex holsters safari lines Theirs to protect your guns finish. Good luck on your search.

Check out Blackhaws CQC Serpa holsted for OWB. IMO, they have great holsters. Fobus usually makes some good OWB paddle holsters also.

It gets stuck on and doesn't fully holster. In a few that I've tried it would push the slide forward and not holster. Thanks guys, I'll look into the recommended ones, thanks guys!

Just a general observation: if you CCW on a regular basis, invest in a good holster from a custom holster maker like Milt Sparks or Kramer Leather. They cost more but are fit to the model of handgun and will last.
