CZ 75BD Police - CA Roster or Not?

I'm trying to buy a CZ 75B (9mm), and have located a CZ 75BD Police from an out-of-state seller.

I know that the CZ 75BD is on the CA Roster. But does anyone know whether the CZ 75BD Police is the same model number for purposes of the CA Roster, or otherwise is on the CA Roster?

CZ USA does not appear to separately list the CZ 75BD Police on its website. I am trying to get through to CZ USA on the phone to answer this question, but have not yet received a call back. And my Google-Fu has not produced any answers.

In case you are wondering, if it is on the CA Roster, the out of state seller will ship without the standard capacity mags, and my local FFL will accept it without the mags, so magazine size capacity is not an issue.

    Thank you for any help.

Its generalized as the CZ75BD, which is on roster.

You can go to Damascus gun shop and they will either replace the mags with 10 round mag, ship them as rebuild kits or just take them out.

Last time I talked to them, they said it had an LCI and Lanyard Loop, which makes it a CZ75BD Police.

Here is a link so you can order quickly.

Yes, they are CA friendly and will ship to CA.

My CZ-75 BD Police was bought, jailed & FREED right here in Commi-Fornia. So, I'm guessing it is good to go.

Out of stock. Where would you even find 10 round mags for this now anyway?

There is one in stock as of noon yesterday at Entreprise Arms in Irwindale. It's a drive from San Diego but gas for two trips might come cheaper than out of state transfer fees.

Over the last two years the only place I could get CZ Mags was at CTD. I know... broke my heart but...

I wish the CZ USA Website was better stocked for accessories.

Yep just checked, in stock at CTD for $45.19 and that is before shipping. sigh

The 32 round mags are half the price. Thanks Cali

jrara and Bsandoc40: Thank you for the good information.

As for 10 round mags, I'm working on that next. The first step was getting the gun into the state legally.

Wow. That is a good deal. Will CTD ship them there though? hat is the question.

I just purchased a CZ-75BD (Police) from River City Gun Exchange in Sacramento (waiting on the 10day hold) so I don't have it yet. But the guy was telling me that something about the police variant of the CZ was "grandfathered in" on the California roster, but I missed what it was, and they were super busy so I didn't want to bother him with a stupid follow up question. I didn't know exactly what he was talking about - maybe the drop free mags? I'll ask when I pick the gun up.
