    Gen 2 Glock23

What are these going for nowadays? I've got one I bought in '96 and let my neighbor use it last week and he is interested in buying it. I used it as my back up duty weapon from 97-99 and mabey put 1500 rds through it. It just sits in my safe but I don't want to give it away for cheap. It also has 2 13rd mags for it. What do you guys think?

I see ex-leo G23 as low as $425 (pre- panic). Some local LGS still sell LEO trade-in at $430 with 1 mag. It really is up to you. Anything is hard to find these days and most LGS sell NEW handguns above MSRP. A fair price would be between $400 and $500, dependant on condition, use, and extras IMO.

FYI, there is some joker here selling a used gen 2 G23 for $625.

with 1500 rds through it, I would sell it to my friends for under $500. With the availability issue in the current situation, $600 or more.

Listed as $549 for a new Gen 3 w/ 2 mags at Riflegear (presently out of stock). It I were looking for a G23, or any gun for that matter, I wouldn't consider a used one unless I saved at least $100, unless there is something magical about a Gen 2 with no CA legal mags. CA legal mags will cost $30 each.

Glock has an Upgrade for the GEN2s that is free. Some internal parts changed and a new barrel for the G23 in .40.

These older barrels had some support issues.

I'am not saying your older Gen2 G23 is unsafe, I just want you to be aware of the GLOCK upgrade.

I don't know if GLOCK is still doing this thru the factory, Glock armorers or if at all anymore. Call them. Expect that they are busy right now.
