Any of the safaris with the SLS or ALS are good holsters. I use the SLS at work and when hunting. I have never had a problem with them. Some of the fastest retention holsters on the market. And the suede lining helps keep your finish from getting messed up unlike most other plastic holsters. They aren't cheap but the quality makes them worth every penny.

I have a Kaluban Cloak holster and I really like it. It's for my G19/TLR-1 but it is the same holster for the G17. I've had it for over two years and it has been a great holster. Also check out G-Code holster, I hear they make nice rigs.

Off The Grid Concepts Nocturnal holster gets my vote. Glock 17 Gen 4 with Inforce APL. You can also add a screw in the center to create retention for the pistol when the light is not installed. Turn around time from order was 2 weeks even though the website states 3-4 weeks.

There are tooons of kydex makers online. I have holsters from personal Security Systems, Dark Star Gear and JM Custom Kydex and they are all great holsters.

+1 or Safariland if you need retention.

I recommend the Safariland ALS holster. The locking system secures the ejection port so even when the light is not mounted, the holster will lock the gun in place.

Narrowed it down. 6304 ALS holster. Hopefully it will work with 6004-DFA "thigh rig"

Just an update. Ended up ordering this off Amazon. Came with the Single Strap for the shroud.

All I need now is the 6004 DFA and I should be set.

Watch out for ebay. Various vendors and prices. They all Copy n Paste description off Safari's website. But if U read the fine print, the holster may not have the ALS, SLS, or Cobra hood.
