Magtech ammo

Has anyone had experience with Magtech ammunition, specifically 9mm? Good or bad?

I had no problems shooting their 158gr lead round nose 38 special.

Havent tried the 9 but im sure its fine.

I've shot quite a bit of Magtech 9mm... it's good, cheap range ammo... accurate enough for typical range practice - not ideal for competition or extreme accuracy.

I've had no FTF or any other problems with it.

I've used their 500mag 325gr "full load" (they offer a 325gr light load) and it was pretty hot. Better than most brands at that price.

Again, no input on 9mm, but as a company Magtech seems pretty good.

I've fired 200 rds of 115gr 9mm thought my G17 and G26. I have another 300 rds in reserve.

No issues.

For practice ammo, it's great. Inexpensive & reliable.

For self defense, I choose Federal HST, Ranger, or Gold Dots.

Mag tech is good quality factory ammo. I have 9mm, 45acp, and 44 mag and they have all been good ammo.

I've shot this in multiple calipers and it's ok. I prefer Speer's Lawman or Sellier & Bellot for range work, but I sure wouldn't say not to shoot this brand. Most of the 38 special (158 grain, LRN) we've shot has been the Magtech

I use their lead free .40 hollow points in my Ruger PC carbine for pig hunting. I've only fired a couple boxes but they work great for the money.

No problems with it in 9mm out of any of my pistols. Just as good as any other more well known brand IMO.
