Bersa Thunder Off?

Looks like the Bersa Thunder 380 is off roster in Ca. Thats to bad. I thought they were a good seller here. Seems like lots of people have them including wife and I. Though the Firestorm is still available, but not for long!

From what I read, they made a design change that was to enhance the safety and DOJ caught the change and pulled it off the Roster on that technicality. I believe it was for the model you mentioned and they were working with DOJ to get it back on the list.

I just put a deposit on one that was on consignment at a LGS. Have to wait until March 8th to DROS it though. Ugh!

I didn't really like the bersa's, the recoil was a bit steep compared to the round being fired. I've sold my bersa 380, but i do see alot of people with bersa's.

Great gun - they're reliable and accurate. Too bad Bersa went and ****ed it all up by putting an unnecessary and unsightly lock on an otherwise good design - they'd still be on the roster (not that I think the roster will stand unchallenged forever)...
