Checkmate magazine fix?

I have some checkmate mag rebuilds for my 92fs and id like to block them to 10rnds so i can use them without fear of hassle. I kmwo they have reliability issues, and i was wondering if new wolff springs would fix the issues with them. Or is it the follower thats the issue or combination of both?

i had a few of these mags, i used a little polish to rub down the whole mag and i haven't had an issue with them. Neverdull is what i used, good stuff to just rub down with.
Blocking the mag is a PITA, i used to use wood blocks but every once in a while you can fit 11rds, and if i make the block bigger can only fit 9, 10th is very hard to put it.
