SA loaded good price?

Want to get into the 1911 and been looking at SA loaded stainless 5" barrel. Is 810 a good price plus fees?

You can find them for less online, however you then have to consider the elevated transfer fees for your FFL to accept the online purchase. Right now you're looking at around $900 out the door (including taxes and fees).

Personally, if I was going to spend that amount on a 1911, I'd get a Dan Wesson PM7. Perhaps a slight bit more money, but it uses better components than the loaded model.

REgardless, the loaded is a great 1911 to get started in the 1911 field.

That is a decent price for the stainless. You shouldn't feel bad about paying that price locally.

After a very brief (2 second) search on gunbroker, the best price I see is 785. I am sure it can be had for less than that online. But after shipping and transfer fees and the headache of corresponding with an out of state seller, you are better off paying the 810 at the local shop.

in gun shop U can see what U get, but online if something wrong U need to send back to saler. who go to pay for it ??
I get 810+tax+dros at Turner...if cost more then 1000 may be looking online for better deal.

I think its a curse. Its got a big price tag but after shooting the tightest group I ever shot, I will have to say its the gun and not the user that helped. I knwo im not the greatest shot but this surprised me. Just ignore the .22cal hole at the top.

I got mine during a great SA sale at Reed's Sports Shop around July last year. Like $700 for the Loaded parkerized with night sights. If you're willing to wait for a while, there'll probably be another good sale coming around...
