    Need information

    HI

New to this forum, it sure looks great. I am a good person I believe, retired after 25 plus years in the military and I am tyring to find the correct legal process to register two handguns.

One I acquired in April of 1987 and the other in November of 1990.

I have been in and out of the state of California, but did not know of the New Resident Handgun ownership report. I am years past the 60 day period. My question is could I still use the form to register my guns or do I need to follow another pathway.

I want to do what is right. I will give up my guns if I have too.

Also is a 1911 colt 45 legal in california ??

I guess what I am asking is if I could still use the New Resident Handgun Ownership Report.

Would appreciate any and all information that might help.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, you can still use the new resident form.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
