WTK cobray PM-11 value and interest

I was recently gifted a pair of cobray PM-11s from my father.I have this feeling like why do I need 2 of them and am mulling over the idea of letting one of them go since I have a ton of bills, otherwise I would gladly keep both(plus my Dad will be pissed at me if he knew I got rid of the gift he gave me,but the bills got to be payed).Just wanted to see what the current market value of these are here in Ca. and what interest would be.Again I am just considering selling one and not sure if I even should

I'd be interested in the collectors value on a PM-11 also. I bought one back in '94 that I put approx. 200 rounds through. Not exactly the best shooter in the safe, but definitely a conversation piece.

There was one sold in short order not too long ago. I believe it went for $800, but it also included a bunch of "extras" (additional barrels, mags, etc.)

I'm pretty sure it would sell BRISKLY. I want one, but I've put myself on suspension of buying for a couple of months. sigh...

$800 !!! rssslvr, that would help with the bills!

That turned out to be a great investment. I think I paid $175 for it!

Mine is not for sale, however.

I remember I used to see those at the Cow Palace and think "what a piece of crap". Looked like it was made in some amatuer metal shop or something, but now that I can't find them easily for so cheap, they look better and better all the time. I could see myself with one now for sure.
I guess sort of like some women I see, now that i'm older.

Search the for-sale forum... I was high by $50... they all went (quickly) for $750.

If you're bringing it out and thinking of that price I'd likely take it. You can PM me. However, I'd suggest putting it up for (some) more than that and seeing how the market reacts. It's your piece, your money. It's been a while since I've seen one and they're not easy to come by.

(PS - I just noticed this was post 5000 for me )

That's where I bought mine. The seller was a guy out of Merced. I had it transfered by a kitchen table FFL in Alameda who was also at the show the same day.

I later bought a threaded barrel upper for it also(for $80 IIRC), but have since sold that off.

My buddy had an earlier stainless version(it had a different action from what I understand) and got a letter from Ca. DoJ directing him to turn it in to the nearest LE agency around 2000. He destroyed it and turned it in to the Concord PD.

How many 10 round magazines did your dad give you?

I had a pistol and a carbine version preban but sold them off when I went to IMI. I kept those plastic govt mags for years... They're probably in storage with my college stuff.

Maybe you should hang onto it and sell something else.
