Scored a Colt Python while picking up my PPT gun.

So I stopped by CoCo Ichibanya in Irvine to get some chicken cutlet curry before picking up my 17-8. The cashier forgot to charge me but I felt too guilty about defrauding an establishment that any service member who ever did time in Japan would swear loyalty to, so I reminded them that I needed to pay. Karma paid me back by giving me first dibs on a stainless steel 4" Colt Python that just made the display case today at OC Armory.

I used to talk trash about how people only liked this gun because of its pop culture value and aesthetics, but now I realize what a fine example of art and craftsmanship this particular piece is.

Fantastic score! I have an old Colt MKIII Trooper .357 I pull out of the safe occasionally. Big fan of anything Colt in that era especially the python. Congrats!

I still kick myself for selling my 4" Colt Lawman MKIII, circa mid-late 1970's.
