I have them both, the question is: For what purpose is the gun?

Get the 21. Both are good guns but if you can only have 10 rounds why not have a bigger round?

Usually people have a strong preference on the grip size of one over the other.

Don't wait and be picky! Glocks are way too hard to find at LGS.

However I like the G30 in SF model

Get the g19 and then get an M&P 45.

Might as well get a .45 that holds 10 rounds that has superior ergos than a neutered, fat brick.

It's 2 different questions. I bought my first Glock, a G19 in 1992, and after several Glocks, bought a G21 in 1998. And I ran over 125,000 rounds thru the G21, but they are 2 different guns. G19 is for carry.

No...short frame. The distance front to back on the upper part of the grip is slightly shorter on the Short Frame. (SF)

Get a G21 Gen 4 if you can. It already has the SF. 2nd would be the Gen3 G21 SF. Third would be a G30SF.

                            Good luck.

Get the Glock 19 unless you just have to shoot .45 acp at the range. 9mm will be cheaper to shoot and practice with and with property duty ammunition is a capable self defense round.
