Glock 17 Gen 3 stock front sight size?

Did some searching around, and had no luck. Not sure if it's .165 or .215 for a stock front sight on a G17 Gen 3? And rear sight size too if possible.

Wanted to replace it. Thanks in advance.

I can tell you for sure it isn't .215, I have .215 Sevigny Fronts on a few of my Glocks & it's much taller than stock.

If you are planning to replace both, get a matched set. Look at either the Trijicon HD or Ameriglo, both are nice.

Google told me that that stock front sight height is .165" & stock rear sight height is 6.5mm (.256").

I was looking at the Seveigny Competition Sights set... was hoping to get some sights for the range/IPSC/steel challenge, etc. Thanks!

Correct, that's where I was confused. Some websites suggested .215, which threw me off...

Get the Sevigny Carry's. They're cheaper, and the only difference is that the outside vertical edges of the rear sight are rounded/dehorned. Same exact sight picture, trust me I've had both. Here's what he Sevigny sight picture looks like with a .115" wide front (All my Glocks have this setup).

There are lots of good aftermarket sights for the Glock. Heines, Warren/Sevigney,Dawson and nite sights for carry. All depends on what you want to use it for. And you will be shooting USPSA in the US, IPSC is the world organization.

Cool, thanks. I've always used Dawson, but wanted to give Seveigny or others a try.
