    HK USP .40 value?

I am very new to this forum, and was thinking about posting a HK USP .40 for sale in the sales forum, but I have no idea of it's value. (Sorry if this is the inappropriate venue for asking). It is NIB with two ten round magazines. I purchased it in 1995 so it is old, but has never been shot. Would someone kindly tell me its resale value.

    Thanks in advance.

Best way is to check gunbroker or other online dealers. You might not get a quick sale though..

This is about right... $600-650, barring lots of extras (mags, cases, holsters). .45's are worth more.

Why not? Is it because everyone has one? I was considering about $600. Would this be fair?

i think at $600 for a NIB USP 40, you shouldn't have a problem selling it here.

$600 sounds reasonable. My last comment was if you chose to go with the higher prices on gunbroker which is ~$700.

Wow, two takers and I didn't even post it for sale yet. Unfortunately, I live in San Francisco, but I may be in LA in mid May. Can either of you wait?

Also, I have never sold a gun before, so can someone tell me if the buyer or seller usually assumes responsibiltiy of the transfer fees? Also, I lost my receipt of the gun although I am sure it can be traced to me since I am the original owner. Do I need it?

fees are negotiable, but most sellers will put in their ad whether or not the buyer is responsible for the transfer fees: "buyer to pay all transfer fees" or "price includes all transfer fees"

Okay, I got four takers already, and I haven't even decided exactly how much to sell it for. Someone told me I could be asking $700, but I think that may be too much. What to do??? Would I be a jerk if I asked for more than what I was originally considering?
