    Ruger SR9 PPT Chance

Before I continue the story, it is legal to do a PPT for a off list handgun with a LEO officer correct?

Ok, my next door neighbors' friend is a LEO and picked up a SR9 for personal use. He said its a great shooter that he mainly intended for his wife to use at home, but she doesn't like it. He told my next door neighbor, who is also a gun addict, if he wanted it. My next door neighbor didn't have the need for it so he told me about the offer.

Some of you know that I posted on here saying if the SR9 was legas, but it was off list.

So, my neighbors' LEO friend is saying its a great shooter, a LEO! So it must be good, right?

    Should I jump on it!?!?!?

    And so it begins.

He is an anti-gun guy and he said. "Well, you can't eat ammunition". I replied with "When I'm starving to death with a case of ammunition, who's door do you think I am going to knock on?"

Do they make 10rnd mags for this?

If the mag safety doesn't bother you then buy if the price is right.

I'm really serious about this. He not just another cop, he's a verteran police LEO, and he knows his stuff about OLL's, and everything else. He's been on the Westminster Police Department for 13 years.

I'm not like, I need to have it because a LEO says its good.

The mag saftey doesn't bother me.

Yes, they make 10 rounders. CA isn't the only non-free state.

BTW, about the mag saftey. On Ruger's site it says the mag disconnect is removeable.

Would it be legal for me if I took it off?

It doesn't bother me, but I'd hate to be in a shooting and needing to make a tactical reload, and the mag disconnect leads me to my maker.

It's fine. If you like it, buy it.

Every modern handgun will outshoot the shooter.
