    Glocks now off CA roster?

So I was at an LGS today when the clerk said because Glock made a change to their gen3 lineup by marking slides USA instead of Austria, they are no longer on the CA roster. So the story goes Glock can no longer ship to CA unless they do all the new safety improvements and pay the fees to get back on roster.

Anyone hear of this, or just more local gun store FUD? BTW, they only had one G27 on the shelves, so it wasn't like they were pressuring people to buy up stock.

I'm pretty sure the law states that the change has to be a considerable change in the operation of the gun. I don't think labeling the slide different will count.
    Its not paranoid.....its prepared.

Gen 3 Glocks are on the roster. Gen 4 glocks are not. Easy test: look on the roster.

I can't believe the amount of crap gun stores spread.

It's partially true. When CA DOJ found out that Glock had transferred production from Austria to Georgia, they threw a rod. Apparently Glock representatives met with DOJ recently to try to come to some resolution but for the time being, Glock has told their distributors to stop shipping US made Gen 3s to CA.

I usually do not listen to gun store employees when it comes to CA gun laws.

I heard pigs could fly too but that's just a rumor lol... There is a fact that no gen 4's have been aporoved yet .."No Generation 4 Glock handguns have been approved as of: Saturday, February 02, 2013" from the roster but I would be surprised if they didn't approve them after Glock greases some dity liberals pocket.

Earlier this week, one of my local FFL's got three or four glocks in. Do not know if they were Austrian or US.
