Well everyone keeps talking about how awsome this gun is I thought I might buy one and blast the heck out of it to see if I like it. If I did'nt I figure I could sell it and get my money back.

ahhhh... this is the 2nd post you've made that suggests you're LEO. I guess I didn't notice before...

Yeah, you should. We highly encourage such behavior. You should also pick up a P30, Sig P250 and a Walther PPS. Blast them for a couple weeks then sell for all you paid for them, should you not like them.

Once it's DROS'd, it can be sold via private-party-transfer or consignment to any other California resident whom is not prohibited from owning a handgun. Of course for a fair premium

So how do i become a dual resident?

I think $1000 is a fair price for a P30 and $1100 for an HK45. Personally I wouldn't pay $1000 for one or the other when I can get a P2K or USP45 for less but that's just me.

Funny you suggest this... Especially since after DROS, Tax, shipping, etc on top of cost (MAP is about the cheapest they are going for right now)... The initial purchase out-the-door is right at $1000

FWIW, I think $1400-$1500 is quite fair. And I would consider a full size pretty seriously at that price.
