Went to Paralax yesterday. What pistols they had seemed to be about the usual pre-panic prices but the inventory, as in most stores, is low.

Same here, few on display and no price increase.

nobody seems to have received new inventory of glocks yet but I saw M&P's here in sacramento without too much of a markup. They were $519 IIRC, I used to see them about 30-40 bucks less.

i've seen the SIG p226 go up by around 50 bucks, but thats due to the lci and mag safety they put on (raised the cost), but other than that, low inventory but prices seem about the same.

Yea hand gun prices don't seem to have been impacted; it is the availability (lack of) and ammo that is just decimated right now. If you find something you think you want and can buy it, I suggest buying it...inventory is almost non existent and if you ask "when will you get <X> back in?" the answer is almost certainly 6-9 months...

Two of my LGS' are all sold out of Handguns save for a couple 1911's. They're quoting 6 weeks out currently...does anyone know when Glock will catch up with their 600,000 back order?

Maybe I just need to go to a dealer that does more volume...

I've been to a few shops. Two of them have very little inventory. But one of them, Reeds in Santa Clara, still has a very good selection and have been holding their prices from the guns I've shopped.

I got an e-mail from another LGS that got a shipment of Sig Sauer SP2022's in 9 mm. They are selling them for $569 and cited a price increase at Sig for the rise in cost. I picked mine up a month ago (the day after the horrible shooting in CT) for $375 from Reeds.

And I think the biggest thing for me anyways is the lack of ammo and the resultant price increases or the limit on the number of boxes to be purchased.

Prces are the same at Target Masters where I buy most of my guns. Only Kahrs and HKs left. Saw one M&P, one 92fs, Desert Eagle, some 22's And a bunch of Taurus revolvers. They had a bunch of 9mm ammos when I shot there yesterday just in case anyone in my area is looking for them.
