  • ccw "?"'s in nor-cal

    any good links for info on ccw's in tehama and trinity co as i live part time in both and been told ccw's are not hard to get in either co. as i work graves and commute 80+ miles a day for work(lol fun in a jeep @8 mpg ack...lol)... anywho thought i would ask for ccw site refs. from you all here insted of just google

    Most of the less populated counties have reasonable issuance policies. Check the web site in my sig line. Good luck and be safe.

        thanks guys ... yes i have already done some research on tehama co's ccw's, and lived in trinity for over 10 years so know how things work up there .... grrrr i see acording to the S.O.'s site in tehama they wont issue to anyone in city limits .... hmmm might have to move 2 miles down the road

          I'm not personally familiar with your county's polices, but many are like that. If a city has its own police department, that city could then be responsible for issuance of CCWs to residents of the city, if they choose to do it. Other cities will defer it straight to the county. In some places, you have to apply to the city and get the official denial letter before you can go to the county, who then will issue the CCW. If a city does issue, then the county Sheriff will not want to step on the city's Chief of Police by issuing.
