Terrible Colt Service

I sent my 70 series 1911 back to Colt customer service last April. Still don't have it back. When I call they can't tell me when it will be ready. Lately when I call it's almost impossible to get through. I posted this on the M1911 (Colt section) board and a member gave me the email of the service manager who said he will try to expedite the work. I've since noticed that Colt has stopped taking any custom work until they get caught up. Just a heads up to any Colt owner that needs gunsmithing.
