    Bought a 1911

After a long time wanting one last night I pulled the trigger and bought the gun that has been on my wish list for a whole. Para Ordnance Warthog.

Feel like I got a decent deal, has some light finish wear, came with a fiber optic front sight(will be doing night sights anyway) 2 10 round and 1 13 round (live in AZ) magazines.

Super stoked about it. The only 1911 pistols I have had in the past were RIAs and Charles Dalys. Will probably be replacing my Walther P99c as my cold weather carry gun.

Now my question is where can I purchase mags for it? I've never owned a double stack 1911 and have no clue about mags or interchangeability.

I bought one with a bunch of excitement. After shooting it a few times I wasn't impressed. I realized the gun is too small for my hand. Maybe some extended mags would have helped. I also had problems with FTF. Make sure you don't limp wrist that thing.I ended up trading it for a S&W model 29 that i'm much more comfortable shooting. Enough of my negativity. Congratulations on a cool looking gun

Congrats and welcome to the world of 1911s. For magazines you should try Brownells, Midway or Para Ordinance directly.

wow, maybe the gun just looks small... The gun I will DROS next week is a RIA Tactical Compact. It holds full size mags 7rds... if 10 is flush then it must actually be a big gun. Looks are deceiving. Anyways I love looking at new guns. post some more pics of her after the range and let us know how she treats you. again, congrats
