    PPT question

    Hi I just moved and does my drivers license address need to be current in order to ppt any of my firearms? My google fu is not coming up with the answer.

    If you're selling, probably no one will notice. (If the buyer pulls up ineligible, then you will need to pass DROS to get your guns back.)

    If you're buying, yes.

        So if a seller does a PPT and the buyer get's denied the seller needs to pay for another DROS and wait 10 days to get his gun back????

          no, it is covered in the $25 DROS fee portion of the PPT, and CADOJ will do an instant background check on the seller (if they denied the buyer) before they contact the dealer. if the seller comes back clean, then they will tell the dealer to release the firearm directly back to the seller. if the seller comes up dirty, then the dealer is supposed to surrender the firearm to the local LEA IIRC.
