    Glock 27 slide stuck

Need your guys help, got my frame cerakoted today, go to put the slide on andddddd i got it stuck. Noob mistake on my part I'm sure, or it could be some cerakote left on the rails I'm not sure. Either way the slide won't budge and I don't wanna take a rubber mallet to it lol. If I pull the trigger the slide will rack back about half an inch, trigger will not "click". Take down pins do nothing. Tried youtube and google but no one had my exact problem. What do I do? ThanksImageUploadedByTapatalk1358734051.490558.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1358734071.366938.jpg

Are you able to get the slide off?

Try this: Remove the slide cover plate (on the back of the slide) , slide out the extractor spring, firing pin and remove the extractor. Good luck.

Im guessing you cant get the slide off. If you can than do so and check everything. If its stuck. You probably will need to apply some mallet finesse. Where r u located ? The take down lever may have been put in backward s and that very well could be the issue

my 27 has done the same thing, I fixed it by pulling the trigger and pulling the slide back at the same time.

                    What caused the slide stuck?

Not 100% sure, I think It was a mixture of the recoil spring not being seated correctly and some of the cerakote on the frame rails cause you could see where it had pealed it up. Took some emery cloth to the rails, double checked everything, reassembled it and it went fine. Love calguns!
