Any additional news on the new Colt .45 M1911

Anyone know if these will be available for the general public? I've searched Colt's website and didn't find anything on the new Colt .45 M1911 for the Marines. I know it was shown at the Shot Show in Vegas, but I haven't seen any mention of retail sales.

Wow I didn't realize a contract had been signed. I wonder if they are only going to special forces teams though. It would be pretty cool if it has enough success to be reintroduced. A testament to the design.

The contract is only for the USMC Special Operations Command (MARSOC).
