Looking for a CZ

Hello! I'm new to the forum. I'm on the hunt for a CZ P01, specifically around the SF Bay Area. I've noticed that these guns seem extremely hard to find here. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Good luck! I scoured the face of the known world for n SP-01 before the panic buying and had no luck. The best I was able to do was find one through CZ Custom (in AZ) and have them do a SSE on a off roster version. I elected not to as it would have added $400-500 to the cost of the gun. I doubt they have any in stock any more. I have also heard from at least 3 sources that CZ is filling government contracts worldwide and won't be filling civilian orders until they are caught up on those (possibly summer of 2013).

There's a new-in-box one for sale local to me (private party) for $650. A P-01, that is. My local gun shop also has a used one and I think they're asking $589. PM me if you want contact info for them. BUT... keep in mind I'm in WA and these guns have the standard capacity magazines. Might be tricky for you to get them to agree to ship them to CA w/ mags disassembled. The same shop also has two 75BD's in stock new for $589. The one for sale private party is a different story RE shipping to CA, but the price is admittedly a bit high. PM me if you want that dude's contact info.

Actually CZ's were pretty hard to get even before the craziness so I dont think even if the craziness were to die down it would be easier to get a CZ..

In the bay area , in the past I saw them in stock at Reeds and Targetmasters...

You might want to try looking online also like CZ custom and Grabagun since they sell version with 10rds mags.... I got my P01 from CZ customs and the process went pretty smooth.

The one at City Arms is gone. If anyone happens to see a P-01 anywhere from San Jose to Tahoe (or has one they'd like to sell), I'd greatly appreciate the heads up. Thanks!

The funny thing about this is that I told the OP where a p01 was. He messaged me back and said he got it and was thankful that it was the last one at city arms in pacifica. That same day, i went to city arms in pacifica just to check out what was there. they had the p01, cz83, and cz97.

When i got my sp01 from them, the guy behind the counter said, "it's the last one" also. but when i picked it up 11 days after there was another one.

I have been looking for a SP-01 for some time now as well with no luck. I talked to the CZ rep at Shot Show. He told me they would be back ordered for 8+ months. Basically every handgun they produce for the next 8+ months has already been sold. Most FFLs can only do a watch list; they can't even back order anymore. Very sad, but I'll start my search again in the fall.

Dmitry, owner of City Arms, says he usually orders a few CZ at a time because they sell quickly.

They usually have 2 or 3 in the back and the display model.
