    Ruger Alaskan 454

Having a problem with the 454. Shells keep sticking to chambers and I have a hell of a time getting em out. Any solutions?
    Thanks

Try cleaning the chambers first, but if that doesn't work try using a dremel to polish the inside of the chambers with flitz.

My dad had the same problem with his Ruger SS blackhawk 357mag, the chambers were machined a little too rough. By polishing them a bit, the shells eject easily.

I also have this issue on my 454 Alaskan. Chambers are clean. Nickel shells eject with a firm tap to the ejector rod, brass requires a cleaning rod. Super annoying!

I bet it is. Weird to hear about this. Doers it happen for both the Long colt and the casull cartridges?

To be honest I havnt shot an long colt yet. I have put over a hundred 454 rounds with zero issues other than the stiff/stuck cases. I always figured it was case expansion.
