glock 45acp to 10mm conversion

hi guys i was thinking of converting my g30 to a 10mm with a barrel swap. but ill the conversion barrels i could find are the regular 3.78 inches. does anyone know if the g21 conversion 10mm barrel will fit in a g30? does barrel length matter? and does anyone have experience with these? im concerned about reliability. thanks
