    M&P Shield and Great Leather

Have had this M&P Shield for about 800 rounds now and thought is was time for some leather.

Sharing just for the fun of it....Mitch Rosen is the Best!

If someone could tell me how to post the photo along with the text that would be great!

Very nice setup. How long of a wait for the holster?

This pistol shoots so well and packs so nice it is now my on/off duty rig. I have a IWB in kydex by PJ that works for me in the summer.

Nice setup. Just picked up a Glock 27. It was a tough debate between the Shield and the Glock. I just already run a Glock on duty so I figured it would be best to stick with what is familiar.

And thanks to your service to our county!

After I got my Sheild I called Mitch Rosen to have him build me an Upper Limit for it. He made me one for a baby Glock many years ago and I love the way it carried. Rosen told me that they don't make the Upper Limit for the Shield. He offered me a 5jr. I passed and ended up getting a Blackdog Concealment kydex for OWB. it rides high and tight to the body and only put me back 45.00. For IWB I use a Comp-Tac Infidel or Remora. I love my Sheild. And I paid much less for it than I paid for any Glock. Its just about all I carry off duty these days.

Great info. Mitch has opened up most for the Shield now. I have a great IWB from PJ Holster that I use in the summer.

You have any Pics? Would love to see your set up

You ran 800 rounds before you got a holster? What? from the bench, or a bag?

I had a PJ IWB Holster. It was fine but it was time to put a good leather holster with the pistol

I'd love to but I haven't mastered the posting pictures thing.

I'm not following you here. What does a holster have to do with the guns ability to function/fire? For new guns, I normally put a couple hundred rounds through it for function, then a box of the ammo I plan to carry for defense. If all is well, holsters come next. But with only 30 plus years of carrying guns, I'm kind of a slow speed, high drag kind of person. Are you saying that you have to do holster drills from round one in order to post about a handgun's reliability?
