    Davis .380 fitting question.

My buddy bought a Davis .380, says it held up to several thousand rounds then the barrel split tight down the middle. My friend is gifting the pistol to me, as he paid $90 for it and said he doesn't want to deal with it. Numrich has brand new barrels for $23. Anybody know if these would need to be fit or just a drop in?

    What a ghetto pistol.

Should be two barrel retaining pins that need to be punched out.

      What a ghetto pistol.
      Sounds like a volunteer.

The new barrel will work fine........but remember why you are replacing it.

Gifts between friends still have to be transferred via a FFL.

It's not ghetto, it's socioeconomically challenged. Plus if I buy a tracksuit I'll have a complete halloween costume for next year.
