Is this Sig P226 CA approved?

With 20+ variants of P226's, I can't tell if this gun (of course with 10rd mags) is CA legal.

How do you improve on the world’s best pistol? By adding enhanced ergonomics and new features including an enhanced trigger system with an astounding short reset.

Sig Sauer website shows as Not CA Legal

But I don't think Sig's Website is completely accurate as the CA DOJ roster shows the P226 MK25 as legal but Sig shows CA Not Legal.

The problem is that the CA DOJ website is not specific enough with Model Numbers. It says the P226 in stainless is Legal.

DOJ website says this model is legal: P226R (Stainless) / Stainless Steel
Sig Lists this model as: E26R-40-SSE
(It looks like every P225 Model Number starts with E26)

I think your best bet is to call a FFL and ask them. (I think the elite is not on roster but I could be off)

Not sure why the MK25 is listed that way on the Sig site.
Laws and common sense is all up to interpretation to us humans... and guess what? Humans suck.

The list can be really confusing to read. I actually sent an email to the CA DOJ and a month (maybe 3 weeks) later I got a call from them answering my question. I didn't answer it but she left a message and I freaked out when she mentioned she was from the DOJ :O I forgot all about it haha. She cleared the questions I had, though.

I would call the FFL you are using here, and ask them. You can not go by what Bud's say.

I'll second the opinion that it's not on the roster. Time for a SSE.
