    PC 627 2 5/8" problem...

I was shooting my PC 627 2 5/8" today and when I went to empty the shells, one of them would get stuck in. I would have to force it out. Is this a breaking in issue or should I contact S&W?

It was getting stuck when I shot 38s.

Give the chambers a good scrub using Hoppes #9 with an over sized brush (40 cal). I chuck the cleaning rod to a cordless drill to scrub out the chambers.

If they are still sticking after that you may have an under-sized chamber and would need to contact Smith and Wesson.

Are rounds consistently getting stuck in that cylinder chamber? If not, might just be the ammo itself. Maybe the brass for that specific cartridge expanded. Otherwise, a good scrubbing would be a smart thing to do before considering contacting Smith about it.
