    Texas-Transfer?GLOCK 30SF

I have a friend that lives in Texas and wants to legally sell me his Glock 30SF OR he will buy a new one and then legally transfer it.

He said he asked a cop friend in texas and he told my friend the model in Texas would have to be modified before sending to California. (I don't really think the LEO is informed all that well & might be speaking in general terms)

Does any one know about this & have any info to back it up that I could send my friend in Texas?

Thanks in advance for any advice & help,

    Matt

The 30SF is on the Roster.

That means you can buy it in CA, and a dealer may also transfer it to you in an interstate transfer, TX --> CA.

Unless your friend is offering a real deal, the dealer's transfer fees and shipping should make interstate transfer from TX economically unattractive. TX resident to CA resident is not a CA PPT, so the fees can be whatever the dealer wants to charge.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thank you! I did not believe they make a special Glock 30sf just for California. One of the problems is I can't find that gun new anywhere at this time. Hmmm
