    1911 mags question

Can I use my S&W 1911 mags for my Kimber Raptor ( I got only one mag for the Kimber ), everything look the same but the plastic buttplate on the S&W 1911. I put those mags on the Kimber, they snap in easy, can I go ahead and shoot ? Will they function properly?
    Thank you.

The base pad difference should be no issue. Use the mags- they should work without a problem.

Should be no problem like mentioned. Only problem that may arise is if the other gun has an extended ejector in which may cause to the type of follower or lip of the mag.

ummm I'm pretty sure the highlighted part of the 2nd sentence isn't English.

All 1911 mags for .45 work in all .45 1911s - short of someone doing something bizarre. They work across the board - like AR mags in the multitude of ARs.

Thank you for your confirmation, I will not buy a second mag for Kimber but just use my SW 1911 mags.
