Desert Eagle Question

I have a 50 brushed chrome DE XIX that was made in the usa, i had bought a black 44 barrel for it at a local dealer and even though i never shot it i did install it on the gun, it seemed tighter than the 50 but it fit.
well i just sold the barrel and the buyer says it doesn't in his DE.
I don't know if he had the usa made one or not but should it matter?

I told him ill take it back but now i don't know what to do with it.
of course i ordered a new brushed chrome one so now ill have two

Buyer might have Mark VII DE. Slide is different than Mark XIX. Barrel won't drop in.
