The 357 is not on the roster. So the only one you could buy in CA new is the 38 cal 2" barrel blue. I looked at getting one before but didn't. Looked and felt in the hand fine. Reviews on them are half and half. Get ready for all the replies on its crap because its not a ruger or S&W.

Let me save you some time sum up what everyone will more than likely say. For $100 more you could buy a used ruger or S&W.

Sorry to say it just like that. But I know what you mean I also was and am on a budget. You will hear the same said for the Taurus. But that is a step up from the windicator. One thing I didn't like about the windicator is that it can't handle +p ammo so that made me think is was not a very well made gun. But that's my opinion no experience with it.
